The eye of minds di James Dashner, inedito in Italia, è il primo volume della duologia The mortality doctrine, ed è senza dubbio un libro originale e pieno di sorprese. Ormai per me lo scrittore è una garanzia, visto che mi ha letteralmente conquistata con la serie di The Maze runner. Adoro il modo in cui scrive e le sue storie piene d'azione e scandite da battute taglienti e divertenti. Come molti altri autori, leggere i suoi libri in lingua è tutta un'altra cosa, visto che si colgono le precise sfumature che vuole dare, mentre in italiano questa sfumature... be', sfumano.
